It's been a long time...
It's been a long time...
It's been a long time since I updated my blog. Can't say I was really busy, guess I m just plain lazy..and perhaps I didn't have anything really special to update..
Was away in Malaysia, with my hubby, to visit his granny, cuz she didn't attend our wedding and the last time we visited Miri was like 4 yrs ago, in 2002. Following that, went with Piggy to BKK for a short trip as he had to see to some work matters over there. But too bad, we went during the weekdays, hence didn't get a chance to visit the famous "Chatuchap", which I had heard so much about from my female friends, especially Poodie, who had recently returned from a trip there. Nevertheless, I went to the nearby Robinsons and bought some really nice and cheap cups and glasses!! Felt really happy with our purchase, cuz the cheapest glass we bought cost only $0.80 each and I think it looks rather simple and chic..heehee. We also bought this exquisute white lamp for only $15! If only we had more time to explore, I think we can find more household stuff there..
Really feeling kinda excited about our new house..hopefully after we move in, we can concentrate on the biggest item on our agenda, making babies and hopefully, God will bless us with a baby! Right now, still sourcing for a suitable designer/ contractor. Just met a contractor over the weekend, going to meet another designer tmw. She is the one who designed the showflat in our apartment. Hopefully, she can give good rates, cuz Piggy said he had a feeling we would prefer her works to any others, since we liked quite a bit of what we saw in the showflat and it was always better to get the original designer to do what you want, since she would know what you mean exactly. Not too sure about that..guess we would have to look at the quote..hopefully it would be within our budget.
Talking about budget, I would be returning to work in another 2 months time. Guess I feel better working, cuz at least got income and can help to ease Piggy's financial burden. However, I was quite pissed off that my boss shot me an email to my personal email account (which the cuckoo HR brainlessly forwarded to my bosses), telling me to keep myself updated on the current happenings before I return to work 2 months later. I do check my emails now and then, but it's more to clear my overloaded mail box than to keep myself updated. Cuz afterall, I m not paid for this 2 months work and any 13th month bonus would exclude this timeframe, so I feel that I dun have an obligation to do so. I will probably only read whatever interests me and skip the rest!
Anyway, my poor piggy is sick and in ICT. Poor little piggy..I really hope he will recover soon or take one or two days' MC and rest at home instead. And then maybe, he can escape the horrible jungle training..heehee...
