Learning to Cook


Have been trying to learn from the maid how to cook, since I have nothing very important to do here. Cooking is interesting, I really hope I can master it one day. Think I m still at the very beginner's stage. But I have learnt how to cook simple soup and fry vege. Hope to learn more as time passes. : )

Yesterday nite, Piggy's bro, Apple & I went for dinner at Legend's cuz Apple won alot of money two days ago so she wanted to give a treat. It was a delicious meal, with lots of good food. After the meal, Piggy's bro wanted to go home but Apple wanted to go to the Casino there. Think he was tired, cuz I heard from Apple that he only had like 3.5 hrs of sleep the previous day but anyway, that Apple insisted on going and started to show her unhappiness when he resisted. So in the end, they went. And I went home first. As mentioned previously, I hate to be inside casinos for long, cuz of all the smoke. Anyway, it was interesting how Apple debated on how she should go to the Casino cuz she will be away from Vietnam for a month and won't have a chance to go to the Casino. It's not like she wasn't there earlier in the day. In fact, she had been at the Casino for about 4 hours, when Piggy's bro & I met her for dinner at the hotel. But she reasoned that it was not enough..I wonder how she can survive in Singapore, which doesn't have a casino at the moment...and she always talks about going back to Singapore. Maybe when the new casino is up...haha..

Anyway, I had a most discomforting night. When I was watching TV, the channel switched by itself to another channel. Wonder why it happened. I hope it's because all the channels are linked and somebody in the next room switched channel. Then when I woke up, the aircon was off. Nope, it was not a power failure cuz the small lamp was on. I wonder if I could have accidentally switched off the air-con when I woke up to switch off another light in the night. I really can't remember the vivid details cuz when you wake up in the nite, you are always groggy and blur. But whatever it is, I really would prefer it if my cuddly little piggy was around..
